Named for the osonjoi trees the Maasai hold sacred, Lemala Osonjoi is the newest addition to the Lemala portfolio, perched at nearly 2,500 metres on the crater’s eastern rim. Its 20 suites, including two-bedroom family options, are framed by picture windows looking out over the forest. The lodge’s position on the Lemala route gives guests quiet, quick access to the crater floor each morning, well ahead of camps queuing on the busier western Seneto road.
